Apostolos graduated from Athens Law School while doing one year of his studies in the University Robert Schuman Strasbourg III. He holds an LL.M. in International & Maritime Law from the University of Hertfordshire (Karnessis Foundation scholar) and an LL.M. in Corporate Law from New York University (Propondis Foundation scholar).

Apostolos has worked in the European Parliament as an assistant to a Greek member of the European Parliament, in the Athens office of V&P Law Firm as a trainee lawyer and in the Association of SA & Limited Liability Companies as a part-time legal researcher and editor of its monthly bulletin.

Apostolos is a CIArb accredited commercial Mediator and partner in the “Hellenic Mediation and Arbitration Centre”. During his stay at New York, he worked as a mediator in a one-year voluntary mediation scheme in Brooklyn Small Claims Court.

Apostolos joined Politis & Partners in 2010. His areas of expertise are Civil, Commercial, Corporate/Business, Competition and Private International Law. Apostolos has also worked with international commercial transactions, banking law, M&A transactions, energy projects and dispute resolution.

He is the co-author of an article on the anti-suit injunctions in view of the ECJ’s ruling on case C-185/07 Allianz v. West Tankers, published in the European Common Law Market Review, 46(5) CMLR 1709 (2009).

Apostolos speaks fluently Greek, English, French and Spanish.
